Kaitlin Tremblay

Kaitlin Tremblay is a writer, editor, and game designer living in Toronto. She is the author of the upcoming book Ain't No Place for a Hero: Borderlands (ECW Press, 2017) that examines the subversive storytelling used in the Borderlands franchise. She was the co-author of the book Escape to Na PalI: A Journey to the Unreal on Epic Game's 1998 hit Unreal. Kaitlin has also written a chapter on Perfect Dark for the anthology Shooter, and her writing can be found on Playboy, Vice, The Mary Sue, Unwinnable, amongst many other websites.

     Kaitlin's games focus on exploring mental illness and feminism through horror, and have been nominated for Canadian Videogame Awards, as well as having been reviewed favourably on Polygon, Rock Paper Shotgun, Broken Pencil, Bitch Magazine, and many others. Kaitlin is the writer on the upcoming game Mortuary Simulator by Laundry Bear Games.
